Agatha and the Dark

This is a story about overcoming fears by using creative imagination and positive validation. Agatha is afraid of the dark and at kindergarten, the wintry sky outside the window is getting darker. When Agatha accidentally finds herself alone and, in the dark, while tidying away the art smocks, she is so frightened, she wobbles like jelly. Her teacher says everyone is afraid of something then, as usual, George is making things worse. If only he would stop talking about monsters! How will Agatha ever sleep in her own room tonight? What are those sounds outside her window? How many soft toys can she fit in her bed? What if there really is a monster under her bed, like George said? But using her imagination can help chase that monster away.
