In 2018, Nix Adams started posting videos on Facebook while she was freshly out of jail, in order to show her kids that she was sober and on the path back to them. Her world had unravelled when her youngest child, Alaska, died suddenly of a virus. A spiral of grief and then addiction led Nix to five years of chaos, resulting in a stint in maximum security prison where she finally hit rock bottom and started to work her way back up.
